Every Stage of the Administrative Professional License Defense Process
We represent clients from the initial complaint, interviews, submission of records and mitigating documents, negotiations, settlement hearings, and trial through the final decision of the professional board, and, where appropriate, judicial review. Most professional licensing boards run the process roughly the same. It usually starts with a complaint from a third party (often a disgruntled employee or dissatisfied patient or client) followed by an initial investigation by the licensing or disciplinary board. If the board finds sufficient evidence, an official accusation is made, followed by board hearings and ultimately a disciplinary decision by the board. This is why a proper response to the initial complaint is important.
