Ann C. Schneider
Ann C. Schneider's practice is dedicated to helping health care professionals and other professional license holders understand their legal rights and responsibilities. A native Californian, she was raised with a working-class ethic and an abiding belief in equal opportunity for all.
Ms. Schneider joined Green & Associates in 2008, bringing a wealth of relevant experience from smaller law offices in Los Angeles. Since the mid-1990s, her practice has focused on insurance defense (life, health, and disability), enforcement of managed care contracts (including Medi-Cal and Medicare reimbursement), professional misconduct, unfair competition, and business litigation.
As a hardworking advocate for Green & Associates' clients, Ms. Schneider proposes realistic action plans and ways of avoiding future legal problems. Whenever feasible, she endeavors to negotiate a reasonable settlement before a case goes to trial.
Her path to a law career began as a volunteer with the Legal Aid Society while attending Pasadena City College. She subsequently earned a paralegal certificate from California State University-Los Angeles, and worked in the patent and trademark field. To realize her dream of becoming an attorney, she returned to the university to study for a bachelor of arts degree in political science with an emphasis on public administration.
Ms. Schneider graduated magna cum laude (with great distinction) in 1988 and enrolled in the UCLA School of Law, where she was an editor of the UCLA Law Review. She earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1991, the same year she was admitted to the California State Bar. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
